Norton model identification

Norton model identification with engine and frame numbers - Norton single cylinder models. A simple guide to identifying the year of manufacture of a Norton from the engine and frame numbers. "From 1945 to 1974 these numbers should match , and up to 1960 should include a year letter code. There will also be a number code for the model and the serial number which ran from 10001 too over 300 000 over the years.

my dominator has numbers 122 & 100970. latter punched on frame and engine. There is no year year code. Can you pl help identifying year of manufacture. where to look for year code pl?

Hello,
I'm trying to find out what model Norton Commando purchased for restoration. It's a 1970, VIN 2CM3S137279. The only thing I found online was that it is a 1970 Commando, nothing specific.
