1. O.E.C. WORKS RACERS
The Vintagent: The ca. 1934 O.E.C. (Osborne Engineering Co.) ex-Works Racer coming up for sale at the MidAmerica Las Vegas auction is a real rarity, from a company which only sporadically competed in the TT at all. OEC is better known for it's 'odd engineering contraptions' than for any racing dominance, yet they periodically threw their hat in the ring at the TT, and in chasing the World Land Speed Record.

2. OEC 150mph - British Pathé
J S Wright breaks speed records on super streamlined motorcycle. Cork. 150 miles an hour on a motor cycle! Streamlined in every possible way even to his helmet - J S Wright and an O.E.C. - Jap-engined - wins back record for Britain from Germany.

3. OEC Atlanta
I believe the machine to be a OEC Atlanta Special of 500cc, the engine is a badge engineered AJS/ Matchless ohv twin port with exposed hairpin valve springs. The OEC company made very high quality products and were famed for innovation and forward thinking including a duplex steering system.

6. OEC post LSR
The Aug. 30, 1934 edition of 'The Motor Cycle' has a short article on a 'A New Racing "Four"', detailing the attempts by J. Granville Grenfell (what a name!) to create a 500cc machine, with the specific intention of being the first motorcycle to achieve 100mph for an hour, and win a 'Motor Cycle' sponsored trophy for a multi-cylinder/100mph/1hour British motorcycle.

7. OEC Restoration Bicheno Motorcycle Museum
This is a 1960 OEC that I am restoring for the museum.Frederick Osborn of the Osborn Engineering Company began manufacture of motorcycles in 1901 using Minerva and MMC engines. After WWI, his son John Osborn resumed production of OEC-Blackburne machines, later shortened to OEC. OEC Motorcycles were made in Portsmouth and Gosport.

8. OWUS 1927
The OWUS ( O tto W ittkopf u nd S öhne) was the masterpiece of the locksmith Otto Wittkopf and is therefore unique! The German Trail Master Gustav Franke has restored this motorcycle....
