The Osborn Engineering Company was in business with an interruption of a number of years from 1901 to 1954. In those years a vast range of models was produced, ranging from humble light two strokes to sporting big V-twins. OEC was very active in designing and building special frames for racing and record breaking machines.

8. Olympic Motorcycles
Frank Parkyn started producing Olympic bicycles in Green Lane in the early 1880s, and moved to Granville Street in 1896. He became the Liberal member of the Town Council for St. George's Ward in 1897, and lived at 10 Rectory Terrace, Wolverhampton.

9. Omega Motorcycles
The company was founded by Mr. S. Dorsett, and Mr. R. S. Roberts, with premises in St. James' Square. The Omega was basically an ordinary bicycle, with the addition of a 1.5h.p.engine. The machine, which had the feel of a bicycle rather than a motorcycle, was designed to appeal to bicycle riders who were unsure about riding a motorcycle. It sold for 25 guineas, which was a good price at the time.
