Omega MotorcyclesThe company was founded by Mr. S. Dorsett, and Mr. R. S. Roberts, with premises in St. James' Square. The Omega was basically an ordinary bicycle, with the addition of a 1.5h.p.engine. The machine, which had the feel of a bicycle rather than a motorcycle, was designed to appeal to bicycle riders who were unsure about riding a motorcycle. It sold for 25 guineas, which was a good price at the time. Url: http://www.historywebsite.co.uk/Museum/Transport/Motorcycles/Omega.htm Information: N/A Category: O
