Moto Parilla North America, a website for collectors of Parilla motorcycles. The company started just after World War 2 when Giovanni Parrilla built his first bike based on a Norton. A few years later, the company added 2-stroke commuter bikes and then designed their signature "high-cam" models before they closed their doors in the mid 1960's. The United States became Parilla's biggest market and their success here is what this website will mostly focus on.

8. Parilla 250cc Wildcat Scrambler - 1962
Only a handful of the Wildcat Scramblers were imported in America by the U.S. importer Cosmopolitan Motors in Pennsylvania and were ridden primarily in scrambles events if they were raced at all. Note the quick detachable hand-formed tank, the beautiful suede seat, and the unique painted fenders. The “high cam” engine is fueled by a remote float Dellorto carburetor and exhaust utilizes a reverse cone megaphone

One of the original Parilla pages... The Parilla motorcycle first appeared in public in 1946 at a local race meeting held at Lombardy in Italy. It was a single cylinder, single overhead camshaft four stroke 250cc motorcycle. The bike performed well enough for the manufacturer Giovanni Parrilla (he dropped an "r" from his motorcycle names) to construct a series of 250cc bikes at his Milan workshop. The first 250 Parilla sport could reach 75 mph and produced 14 bhp, whilst the 250 racer made 18 bhp and had a top speed of 87 mph.
