En 1982, deux propriétaires enthousiastes de Honda ont créé sous la dénomination HRC (d’après les lettres de Honda Racing Co) une association libre auprès de Honda Belgium appelée Honda Riders Club. D’emblée un succès, mais une vie professionnelle intense ne leur laissa plus l’espace nécessaire. Philippe Schmidt et Charly Hertoghe ont alors recherché une solution pour assurer la continuité du Honda Riders Club. Pendant le voyage promotionnel d’un nouveau modèle Honda ( le ST1100) en octobre 1990, les premiers contacts ont été établis pour modifier le Honda Riders Club en HONDA RIDERS ASSOCIATION. |
