Already over 125 years ago in Nuremberg south Bikes were built. The bicycle factory founded in 1886, is named soon after the Greek demigod "Hercules", a name which had until 1995 before the Nürnberger Hercules-Werke were divided into a motorcycle and a bicycle division. Motorcycle production continued the Sachs vehicle and engine technology, before the name was changed in 2008 SFM GmbH.
